Top 5 Tips for Frustrated Affiliate Program Marketers

Do you go through affiliate programs like most people go through pairs of socks? Many Internet marketers do. In fact, 97% of all Internet marketers never make a single cent advertising opportunities on the Internet. They jump from one opportunity to the next and never see results. If you want to break free from this cycle of failure– if you want to earn a living off of your Internet ventures–continue reading. I will tell you exactly how you can earn money from any legitimate affiliate program.

In order to get the most information from what I am about to explain to you, you must accept that these methods are not intended to be “secrets.” These are scientifically-proven, best-practice methods that all top marketers use. If you want results, you will have to do and continue to do the following five things:

1. Know your product.

Do not advertise for a product or affiliate program that you are not currently using. I cannot even count the amount of affiliate programs and product offers I have rejected immediately from people who know very little about what they are actually promoting. If you want to make money selling a product or service, you have to use it, understand it, and be able to convince your prospects that they should own it. If you yourself do not believe in it– because you have not even tried it–then you will have a hard time convincing anyone else it is worthwhile.

2. Know your field.

You must continually become more knowledgeable about the market in which you are selling your product or service. For instance, I try to read at least 50 pages on Internet marketing each day to complement the marketing I do. This keeps me learning about my field. The best part about this is that you can do it without spending any money at all. The Internet is loaded with free content sites where you can find free ebooks and special reports on any subject. The Internet is also loaded with affiliate program promoters who are out-selling you. Use google to find these sites and then reverse engineer them–pick apart the source code, page setup, and content layout to find out how you can become more like your competition who is outselling you.

3. Focus your efforts and limit your innovation.

As much as “limiting your innovation” may go against your business instincts, it is an absolute must with a limited marketing budget. Figure out what works for you scientifically by measuring your advertising results. When you find something that works, stick with it. If you are getting traffic from reciprocal links, continue to build them. If you are getting constant sign-ups from your newsletter, improve your newsletter and order more leads. Do not stray far from your original plan. Preset the amount of innovative ideas you want to try out each night, but center your marketing efforts around getting better results from methods that have already worked for you.

4. Spend money wisely.

The Internet is loaded with scams and bad information. It is really easy to be tricked into blowing money on “get rich quick” schemes and information that you can find in free resources. I personally have spent thousands of dollars needlessly. But do not get me wrong; I am not saying there are no legitimate affiliate promotion services or information products out there: I am saying that the vast majority of them do not work as well as they say they do. So hold onto your cash. When you find a product that multiple people have personally recommended to you, then consider buying it. Otherwise, conserve your cash for purchasing services or products that will produce hard, definite results, such as email leads for your newsletter or phone leads you can contact personally to promote your program.

5. Remember that your success is dependent on your choices and your work alone.

If you get upset about not becoming successful with a specific affiliate program, do not blame the program–blame yourself. Do a thorough analysis of what you could be doing better and how you could be making quantitative progress every single day. There are people who do not pay any money at all for promotional services and yet are still able to make a living just from using free tools on the Internet. If they can do it, there is no reason at all why you cannot. Joining a marketing group or forum in your field will help you realize this reality. Seeing and talking to people who are succeeding in your field will remind you that it is entirely possible to make money online without having a million dollars to begin with.

While there are some “secrets” to getting more sign-ups and site visitors, the bigger part of affiliate program marketing is following a sound business plan. If you keep the five concepts I have listed above central to your marketing campaign, you will not fail. But, if you continue to market sporadically–switching from product to product and method to method–you will never break out of that 97% who never make money.

To People Who Want To Make Money Online – But Got No MFM

Starting a business?  Ain’t got no MFM?

Frank Kern teaches in his Mass Control seminars that prosperous online business entrepreneurs should avoid those with no MFM (mother fuckn money) at all costs.  However, I’m going to play it level with you.

To make money on the Internet, you need the funding to start your business.

The first place to look for financing is right there at home. You plan to make money at home, so why not sort out some useable space?

Make an inventory of items you don’t need, or never use and have a garage sale. Most people are quite shocked by how much money can be raised in a single day, or over the weekend.

You could try a profit sharing scheme with those who have trust in your abilities. Your close family or friends might want to help. If your credit rating is good, taking out a small manageable loan might be best for you.

Starting any business carries a certain financial risk, so make sure you can carry the burden without putting yourself in financial jeopardy.

Before you start to make money online, you will certainly have to invest some. No business can be run on fresh air and goodwill alone.

As a sign I read once said;

“In God We Trust – All Others Pay Cash”..

The Real Truth about – “How to Make Money on the Internet.”

You know… for a few years even I doubted that network marketing was a real business…

Sure, I read about how to make money at home and how easy it was to make money online.

Burning the candle at both ends…

listening to seminars that told me all about residual income, how to achieve the status of “network marketing professional”, reading e-books that told me how great life is at the top…

But – Hey… Hold On! How do you get there?

I’ve joined a business but my upline doesn’t respond to my questions… the company are ‘brain dead’ and I don’t know what I am doing exactly…

Is that how people make money on the Internet? Is that any way to start off in network marketing? Will that keep me in the business? It certainly did not.

Then along came another business and a support team that I never even contemplated could exist anywhere on the Internet. That was many years ago…

If I ever had any advice to pass on to people who are considering network marketing as a profession, then it would be to take a good look at what support is available, before even thinking about making money online.

Next, have a look at how the company is structured. Don’t ever sign up for anything until you have checked it out very thoroughly. How ‘open to scrutiny’ is the business you are considering? If there are any conditions before you have a look, run for cover and take your money with you!

Now… back to the subject. Is the ability to make money online for real?

Yes, it is. I would ask anyone to dispute that fact. So many are disgruntled by their failure in network marketing but how many actually stood the test of time and worked at it as hard as they would with a boss standing over them?

How many worked the same hours as they would in a job?

I can honestly tell you that not many do the above and most have higher “Online” expectations than the network marketing company can deliver, or the average person can hope to accomplish.

Building a downline is not easy but can be achieved with the right people duplicating your process and getting the right online support.

Network Marketing is the only way to produce a lasting residual income. To make money at home, without having to find the funds that would normally be required to pay you a similar amount each month from a large investment.

Why do people give up this ‘retirement plan’ so easily? Why do people work 40 plus hours a week just to pay the bills and yet do nothing to make money on the Internet and build a residual income for themselves?

Why is a process that takes 40 years to accomplish considered a ‘better alternative’ than a network marketing plan that can accomplish this task within 4-5 years, with a similar amount of work?

Yes, there are ‘scoundrel companies’ out there. That is why ‘due diligence’ is so important. How many people actually do any? Then they wonder why they are failing at it…

Would you buy something from someone that you couldn’t see, couldn’t talk to and had no visible representation, no credibility and no experience in what they were doing or trying to sell you? No, you wouldn’t, yet it happens on the Internet every day!

Yes, network marketing is a real business and you can make money on the Internet. It produces real full-time residual incomes for thousands of people worldwide but you must choose the right business with the right people and take the time to build your dream of Financial Freedom.

Every time you think of quitting, stop and look at the alternatives…

All people see, is what it is costing them. Does that ever amount into what you would pay for a franchise or alternative business? No, it does not. Whatever you may think of network marketing, it is still the only way that the ‘small guy’ can achieve financial freedom and success.

Millions of people are making their money from home. Do they need expensive premises and huge overheads? No, they make money online, on the Internet, working at home.

Use Collaborative Approach – and Get Leveraged Earnings

By helping others to grow their business you ensure growth of your own business. I have seen this theory work even while dealing with competitors. This confirms one of the golden rules – you get what you give to others.

I have been involved in building and running factories to generate profit and credibility – right from constructing foundations for machines and buildings up to the point of developing customers and retaining them. In the process I have had to deal with many agencies – suppliers, customers, consultants, government officials, licensing firms and many others.

Whenever I negotiate a deal with these agencies, I always have two considerations at the back of my mind. One of them is cost reduction and the other one is the prospect of entering into long-term relationship. It is often possible to resort to arm-twisting to get a deal which appears better for you. But there is a better approach – the collaborative approach.

Collaborative Approach – Let us take the case of a supplier or a vendor. While it is possible to force a deal in your favor, collaborative approach makes that unnecessary. In this approach you actually work with the vendor as a consultant to help him to reduce his cost of sale, and then get the savings passed on to you. This creates a win-win situation, good relationship develops and long-term source of supply is ensured.

Similar approach works with customers also. Customers can be helped in growing their business, in solving their technical problems and other issues. This may not give immediate monetary benefit, but there are longer-term advantages. One obvious benefit is that loyal customers are developed. Another equally important benefit is that customers actually advertise for your products. This is a no-cost advertisement endorsed by actual user of your product.

Network marketing uses a collaborative approach that makes it really appealing. It is unfortunate that network marketing or multi-level marketing is not really considered as respectable as it deserves to be. This may be because many network organizations have disappeared because of faulty systems or un-ethical practices. Many programs did not have any products to sell; their business was only recruiting down line members. Such programs and associated legal issues should be totally avoided.

PERSISTENCE PAYS – One of the reasons why new affiliates give up too early and too easily is that they were probably lured by some get-rich-quick scheme to join the program which did not materialize as they were led to believe. In any good network marketing program it is important to realize that results will be forthcoming only thru persistence. Building any business which can yield returns sufficient to support a family takes time.

Good Affiliate Programs – While many organizations have disappeared in thin air, there are also organizations that are growing and growing. Many programs offer unlimited earning potential. It is important to join only good programs with proven track record. New affiliates are often new to the Internet business and join with the hope of making some extra cash working part-time or working from home. They need support from the organizations operating the programs by way of training, sales promotion material, discussion forums etc. Many programs provide such support to their affiliates.

Personal Guidance – While all these material can help a new affiliate, there is no substitute for personal guidance. Apart from other benefits it can provide, it at least assures the new affiliate that she is being taken care of and is not left alone. This is where collaborative approach comes into play. Generally the person who sponsors the new affiliate works as a guide. The guide has more experience in this field and helps the new affiliate to grow her business.

Leveraged Earnings – The programs that have a system of providing leveraged earning to its members particularly take advantage of this situation. In leveraged earning, a member earns from the efforts of the down-line members. Suppose you have members in your down-line just below you, and these members have their own down-line members. Like this there are several layers of members below you. Depending upon the program you have joined, you can earn leveraged earning when your down-line members in several layers below you earn their commission.

In this situation it will be to your advantage to help other down-line members earn commission for themselves. They are also happy to earn for themselves with your help. This collaborative approach works out a winner for all concerned.

Apart from monetary benefits, there are other issues involved in the collaborative approach. In my opinion the most important aspect is that the new affiliate does not feel neglected. There are now plenty of free information available in the Internet, most of which can be obtained by visiting websites or thru autoresponders. All the secrets of running successful business are out there. Yet only a few people are able to succeed and earn back their investment. With so much of often-conflicting information people get more confused than educated. If there is a person to guide you it will at least give you a sense of relief.

There are awards also for those who guide others to realize their dreams. This is the sense of satisfaction they get in helping others and earning their life-long gratitude. Other bonus gift is opportunity of building your credibility and gain trust of your business partners.

The sense of belonging, which develops in collaborating with others for overall growth of all, is the real beauty of
leveraged earning — and that’s the beauty of the Obe team.

The Powerline100 Opportunity Review

Powerline 100

Powerline 100

Almost like an answer to our prayers, the brand new Powerline 100 program was launched in almost complete secrecy.   It didn’t take long to discover some of the great benefits of the program and the entire product suite for me personally — but also the major advantages Powerline 100 has over the major market competitors.

Almost 3 years ago, I was very fortunate to be positioned at the beginning of a similar program launch — and earned over $60,000 in under 60 days.  From my own experience, Powerline100 is poised to produce results that even exceed that greatly!

The compensation plan alone is fantastic.  I would say that this program virtually has a “money back guarantee” because you make back your nominal investment in the program after your very first sale.  Plus, with the 2-up compensation plan, the money you will make will grow virally and exponentially because it’s leveraged by others on your team.  It’s a great win-win opportunity!

Again, my own personal experience has shown me that you can earn over $60,ooo in under 60 days — a feature outlined exactly on the website.  And this time, both my sponsor and myself have become fully qualified and earned profits in our first 24 hours.

We went one step further in explaining this opportunity for everyone by producing a special podcast about Powerline100 that you can listen to below.  It runs about 25 minutes and covers most topics for answering all of your questions, including the products, the compensation plan, our impression of the program, our experiences in our first 24 hours and more.

Of course, you can call or email anytime if you’re serious about getting started right away by dialing  (321) 285-7123 (also listed on the Powerline100 website).

Again, this opportunity was only (quietly) launched yesterday — so NOW is definitely the right time.  Visit the site and call now.

What’s The Best Network Marketing Opportunity For You?

Are you looking for a good network marketing opportunity?   Want to tap into the secrets of Internet billionaires?  Wish to be a top revenue maker? Then you should follow in the footsteps of successful marketers, and do what they do to find a network marketing opportunity that feels tailor-made for you.

But you should exercise extreme discretion while choosing your network marketing opportunity. Make sure you don’t waste your time, money and efforts.  Here are a few ways to decide if a network marketing opportunity is right for you or not.

Look for programs that depend primarily on the actual value and need for the products and not on the “opportunity” for you to make money. In the latter situation, the program is often actually a pyramid device where the money is locked in by the company and a small group of upline distributors.

Like in any other market, you should take into consideration the normal dynamics of supply and demand.  Beware if the program allows unlimited recruiting of distributors with no territorial protection or other provisions for preventing market saturation.

Review the products on offer and ask yourself if they can be sold in the market on its own merit without the network marketing opportunity. Make sure the products are consistent in quality and all health claims are backed by reliable research.

You as a distributor should be able to make a good income just by selling the products, without recruiting a single person. The commission paid by the company should not be so low that you have to recruit a downline to earn a significant income.

Make an informed decision. Ask the company to disclose the average payout to distributors by percentiles (highest 1%, second highest 1%, and so on to the lowest 1%) so that you can fairly determine your chances of success. Ask for the net payout after product purchases for all distributors, even those that are not active.

The company should offer an adequate support infrastructure to handle a temporary burst of volume.  Are conferences and training programs, audio and video tapes, etc., free of charge (as is the case elsewhere for company sponsored programs), or are you expected to pay for them — as another revenue source for the company and upline?

Consider each of these points and take time to decide for yourself what will be the best network marketing opportunity for you to attain prosperity, independence and a secure future.

Achieve Your Business Results Through Executive Coaching That Yields a 500% Plus ROI

What if you could have a 500% plus return for very dollar that you invested in your employees? What would that mean for your business? Possibly right now you are thinking that this is not possible and even if it was, any business owner would jump at the chance for such an incredible investment?

First, it is true. So begin looking for that jump rope. According to a recent report by MetrixGlobal for a Fortune 500 company, executive coaching provided a 529% return on investment. This report is supported by other research including Dell Computers. Half of the 761 senior managers at Dell Computer Corporation recently received executive coaching within a two-year time period. Dell has been actively monitoring these managers through pre-determined measurements. One of these criterion indicates that executives who received coaching tended to be promoted more often than those who were not coached.

So, if you are now convinced that coaching is a viable strategy to enhance your bottom line, then what do you need to do as a business owner to implement a coaching program?

First, research any coach or coaching organization that you are considering. Ask for specific references where measurable results were put in place prior to the coaching. The coaching should be results focused with clearly identifiable measurements. Also, coaching certification should not be a limiting factor as many certified coaches fail to earn even mid five figures. The determining factor should be about the results that the coach has delivered with his or her clients.

Second, look for a coaching program that works with your company and can be quickly and affordably aligned to your company’s culture. This curriculum should also be easily adapted to other training and development group sessions as well as to the different roles within the organization including Executive Leadership, Management, Supervision and Leadership.

Third, coaching is a personal relationship between the coach and the client. Your employees must feel comfortable with the coach. Some preliminary communication should take place with your employees before the implementation of a coaching program.

Fourth, the coaching curriculum should be structured, proven and provide numerous opportunities for application and feedback.

Fifth, everyone in the organization needs to support and reinforce the coaching program. Management above those in the coaching program must understand and be in agreement with the program.

To be truly effective, an excellent coaching approach extends beyond the professional life into the personal life. For it is within each individual personally where the performance excellence evolves.

Coaching is a proven way to dramatically enhance your bottom line provided you incorporate at least these five strategies. By taking such action, you can achieve your goals quicker and leave your competition in the dust. That is unless of course they decide to enact a coaching initiative before you do. So what are you waiting for?

Entrepreneurs – You Might Want To Drop Out Of College

Young entrepreneurs and business owners are often times faced with the choice of which road to take. On one hand, there is the more conservative route of staying in college and getting a degree. On the other hand, many have thriving businesses that are making more money than their degree will ever get for them. Is college simply a hindrance? Or is it a valuable resource that should be continued at all costs. Many college business owners don’t even realize they have the choice of dropping out. Knowing this option is there could be vital to the success of their future business. If you are in college and are an entrepreneur or business owner you must ask your self this question: should I drop out of college?

The answer to this question often comes in many forms from many different people. I was recently at an entrepreneurial conference and had the opportunity to discuss this matter with many rich entrepreneurs. The answers I was getting from them were vastly different from those that my family had given me. On the one side I was being told that college is only useful if you are getting something out of it, and that if I was serious my businesses should take priority over schooling. From the family side I was being told to stay in school no matter what, put schooling at the forefront – there will always be time for business and it will be good to have a safe backup. Both of these answers have their merits, but which one is right?. It became clear to me that it was my decision- not the other wealthy entrepreneurs, and not your family.

Why are you in college?
This question is the fundamental element in the decision to drop out of college. Entrepreneurs must figure out the reality of why they are in college before making a decision to drop out. Some business owners are in college because their parents told them to go there, or because they didn’t realize they had the choice. Other young entrepreneurs are in college because they find the information valuable and want to continue learning while they expand their business. Even more still had childhood dreams of one day being an engineer or architect and want to follow through with their early ideals. You must answer this question truthfully and honestly if you are going to make a choice about running your business full time or staying in college.

Why Do You Want to Drop Out?
It is very important to understand exactly why you want to drop out. Many business owners and entrepreneurs have vastly different reasons for dropping out of college and it is key that you understand yours. I have often fielded this question in conversation, and many times a young entrepreneur will want to drop out of college on pure speculation. This is never a good idea without a solid business plan. I recommend having a solid business plan and some backups in the least, as well as some plans for continued learning of business skills. Dropping out is a risky decision – entrepreneurs will understand and easily accept this fact. Understanding and accepting risk is part of being an entrepreneur and starting new businesses. I have also talked with many entrepreneurs who already have million dollar plus income, and are thinking about dropping out in order to focus more on their business. This instance presents an entirely new set of questions. Whatever your reasoning make sure that you understand and research your position.

Here is the Secret to Making the Decision
It all comes down to balancing the two sides of the argument. If you’ve figured out both your reasons for being in college and your reasons for dropping out and starting a business, then you can easily make a decision. The trick is to look at a list of both sides: your reasons for being in college and your reasons for going out and becoming an entrepreneur. If either side has reasons that aren’t your own, or that have doubt in them, then you will most likely pick the other side. Here is an example situation, look at the two lists and decide what the student should do.

Student A – Reasons to Stay in College:
- My parents are paying for it, and they would flip if I left
- Everyone I know is in college, it would be weird to leave.
- A degree might give me some security later on.

Student A – Reasons to Drop Out and Pursue Business
- I have a solid business plan and have been working on it for months
- My income is almost half of my parents already
- Having more time to work on business would let me expand faster

I think it is fairly clear in this setup that we have an entrepreneur at heart. There is doubt in the reasoning behind college, and he also doubts that he will even need the security of a degree. The second list is much more profound and certain. This student knows he will be successful as an entrepreneur and he only wants to build his business more. There is certainty and understanding in his tone. With this situation it seems very likely that the student would be far better off dropping out of college and pursuing his business goals.

The case is almost never as cut and dry as the situation above, most young businessmen have far more complicated setups. Even with the complications, the end result is always the same. Follow the path that you are sure of in your heart. If you are an entrepreneur in the right position then you will know exactly why you want to drop out and that it will be better for you. Or, you will know that staying in college will teach you more about business and let you grow faster out of college. I will leave you with one last thing.

Listen to your own thoughts, and pick the path that you know is better for you.

Creating A Value Proposition For Your Business

Marketing experts have long been using the concept of creating a value proposition for their services or products. If you do not know what your value proposition is or even what a value proposition is then you need to spend some time developing one. A value proposition has many names. Some refer to a value proposition as a unique selling point or an inferred positioning statement. No matter what name you give it, a value proposition is critical for a business to successfully sell their product or service.

A value proposition has three primary elements that you should focus on. The first of these elements is the target market segment. Who are you trying to sell your product to? Who do you believe that your customer base is? These are easy questions to answer for some while difficult for others. If you are selling men’s hair coloring to remove gray hair then it is easy to identify your target market. You are looking for men over 40 years old primarily. If you are selling make-up then you are focusing on women only. However some products make it more difficult to define the target market segment. If for example, you are selling automobiles then you want to appeal to a vast array of people, men, women, various age groups, etc. You need to spend time thinking about which target market segment that you want to buy your product or service and whom you think will actually purchase it. If you are selling high dollar furniture, you do not want to market to a lower socioeconomic customer base. If you are selling low priced automobiles, you will want to focus on that market segment instead of the more affluent market.

The second element to a successful value proposition is the reasons why a customer would buy your product or service. This is a point of differentiation amongst your competitors. Put simply, why would a potential customer choose your product or service over a competitor? Depending on your marketing strategy there are a variety of reasons that a customer may choose you over a competitor. Some of these reasons may include, price differentiation, quality, brand name, customer service, etc. As a business owner you need to decide which of these factors you want to focus on the most. Do you want to set your product apart from others because of the price? Do you want to draw a customer base that is focused on quality? Of course in a perfect world we would offer the customer the best of all these categories, but that is very hard to achieve. Appealing to both the cost conscience and the person looking for name brands is quite challenging and may very well be impractical.

The third element of a successful value proposition is comparison with other products. This is similar to defining why customers would choose your product or service over others. This is a frame of reference for you and for potential customers. If you sell Kia automobiles your frame of reference will likely be on the value of the vehicle. Conversely, if you sell Mercedes automobiles your frame of reference will be on the prestige associated with it and the quality of the vehicle. Volvo is often associated with being the leader in safety in the automobile industry so their frame of reference is different from both Kia and Mercedes. Understand that all of these automakers are extremely successful in their individual target markets. You too must choose what approach you want to take with your product or service line. Do you want to position your product as a value, a prestige product, a higher quality, etc.? Once you have decided what your frame of reference is you can begin your marketing campaign.

It is critical that you choose a marketing position that you can defend. Much like Kia is able to defend their claim to be inexpensive, Volvo has numbers to back up their safety claims. Positioning involves making a clear choice of the target segment to be served, the points of difference compared to the competitors and the frame of reference for the customers. A successful business offers more than one single benefit and appeals to more than one segment of the market while staying focused on the key benefit of that product or service while identifying to whom it has the greatest appeal. Positioning allows the business to choose with whom it competes.

Now look at your product or service and start thinking carefully about what you want your value proposition to be. It is quite difficult to change that value proposition once it has been implemented. For example, consider if Kia tried to compete with the customer base that Mercedes has. It would be quite difficult to implement, although not impossible. So get started today in developing that value proposition before throwing away money on misdirected advertisements.
